It was a joyful and special day on 31st January 2024, the day when the salesian family celebrates the solemnity of saint John Bosco father and friend of youth. It will remain an unforgettable day for all who were present in our community. We started the day by the holy mass which took place in the chapel of our community, animated by father Ferdinand NTUNZWENIMANA, sdb, the rector of community and with father John Paul KATO sdb the administrator of our community. After the mass, still in the mood of the feast, we continued with our program of the day with the finals of the DON BOSCO CUP TOURNAMENT which was started on 28th December 2023. At 10:00 am, we started with the finals of the under twelve (-12) teams, then followed with the one of the under fourteen (-14) and lastly we ended with the one of the senior teams. After the matches the rector welcomed everyone present and continued with his speech of the day. He proceeded by showing us the guests who were with us. The guest of honor was the delegate of the mayor of Kamuli district. In his speech, the message was thanksgiving and asking for the continuation of this good initiative of organising the activities of this kind. He proceeded by saying that it is geared towards having the goal of helping our young people to discover their talents. After the speeches, the following activity was to give the gifts to the winners’ teams. That is how we concluded our day.
