In an effort to bridge the skills gap and raise the level of training, World skills together with Don Bosco Tech Africa organized a mentorship program and a boot camp at St Joseph VTC Kamuli from 16th to 17th May 2023, which was attended by Don Bosco – Bombo, Don Bosco – Palabek and Don Bosco – Kamuli.
In this capacity building boot-camp, a number of experts who have earned international certifications transferred global standard skills to trainers and students in trades like brick laying, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry and joinery, among others to the highest standards currently accepted around the world.
Students who join Don Bosco – TVET schools will now be able to acquire internationally accepted skills that will enable them achieve excellency. They will also have the ability to compete with any skilled person anywhere in the world.
