From 24th – 28th January 2022, Father Jean Pierre Turabanye, Principal of Don Bosco Gatenga TVET School joined other 32 Salesian TVET centre managers and staff from the English speaking zone in Africa in a training of trainers session on Management. It was conducted by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC-ILO). The overall goal of the training was to equip Salesian TVET centre managers with knowledge and skills of how to manage TVET Centres effectively and sustainably Speaking on behalf of the participants, Fr. Francois De Paul thanked the ITC-ILO team for empowering them with knowledge and skills and promised that this will not go to waste. He said that very soon they will witness a positive change and a new face in the TVET centres. He also expressed his gratitude to Don Bosco Tech Africa for organizing this important and enriching workshop. In his concluding remarks Fr. George Tharaniyil, Don Bosco Tech Africa Executive Director, expressed his gratitude to the ITC-ILO team for their dedication and willingness to share their expertise with the participants.
