This Saturday May 24th, 2025, the feast of Mary Help of Christians was celebrated at Don Bosco Secondary School, Ngozi.
Ceremonies started with a Mass presided over by Priest Thadée Nzigamasabo from Ngozi Parish, representing the Bishop.
In the Mass, two pupils were baptised by the headmaster of Don Bosco Lycee-Ngozi, Father John Paul Ndayikengurutse.
Eleven pupils pronounced their engagements in the confirmation sacrament. Priest Thadée Nzigamasabo represented the Bishop in this activity. The candidates were called upon to work in a holy way to benefit from the good things in heaven.
On the other hand, Desiré Nitonde, a Salesian Cooperator, renewed his promise. He was the only one to do so because he will not be available when the other cooperators renew their promise on Saturday May, 31st, 2025 at Don Bosco- Buterere.
Ceremonies ended with the sharing of a glass of wine among the Salesian community and guests to make a toast in honour of Mary Help of Christians.
