The Admission Rite into Aspirancy and Postulancy took place on the 23rd of August in Formation house in Gulu.
First, Three Pre-Aspirants, Nabuuma Teopista from Uganda(introduced by Fr.Henry Ssemakula(SDB)), Nyirambonabucya Celine from Rwanda(introduced by Fr.Joseph Musagala(SDB)) and Kavugho Kamurondire Florine from Democratic Republic of Congo has finished three months of adapting in the lifestyle of the Convent and became Aspirants. The Aspirant Mistress welcomed them in this journey of grace and wished them to have a generous heart to deepen their vocation. May the love of Christ continue to lead you into His loving service in our community.
The Rite of Postulancy continued. The three Aspirants are, Kassim Jenneth Keji Angelo(South Sudan), Aine Mary Faustina(Uganda) and Igeiza Christine (Kenya). The Postulant Mistress welcomed them by saying, may the merciful God assist you with His grace and guide you with the light of the Holy Spirit so that you can achieve this desire.
The next day, on the 24th of August was the Rite of Reception of Novices, the mass was presided by Fr.Arasu(SDB) who welcomed the New two Novices, Immaculata Mary Anzo Clement(South Sudan) and Amani Mirindu Elisabeth(Democratic Republic of Congo). Entering into a Novitiate stage, they receive a New Habit, New Medal and a Constitution book. Also our Congregation is special in a way that each Postulant receive a new name. Immaculate received the Religious name, Sr.Concepta and Amani received the Religious name, Sr.David.
Fr.Arasu blessed the new habit with holy water by saying, God who has promised everlasting riches, bestow your love upon your beloved one clothed with this Holy Habit and make this blessed habit of chaste sacred.
Father also concluded the Rite by saying, God bless these sisters, seeking to live this honorable religious life in your holiness. Listen to their ardent desires and so we may also faithfully serve you with this handmaid who is seeking the will of the Lord.
After the celebration, the two Novices went to the Novitiate house in Namugongo.
