Donald D. Lynch Family Foundation has donated 15 mountain bikes and a fully equipped Sound System to the Novitiate Community of the Salesians of Don Bosco in Rango, Southern Province of Rwanda.
The Lynch Family Foundation supports organizations that are spreading the Word of God through the teachings of the Catholic Church.
In an interview with Brother Christian, the Economer of Rango Novitiate, revealed that the mountain bikes project was developed to help the novices during the evangelization activities especially on Saturday in various sub-parishes of the Rango Parish.
“The project of Mountain Bikes was developed following the issue of inadequate transport means especially during apostolic missions in various sub-parishes”, Brother Christian said.
There is also a sound system that was financed by the same benefactor and according to the Economer, the sound system will help Salesians during oratory services, especially during the gathering of youth.
The Novitiate Community is made up of four Salesians and fifteen novices.
This Salesian community is very optimistic that the provided equipment will bring positive changes compared to the past when they had to work without adequate means.
